About This Dog for Adoption

Red's ideal home

Red is on the search for his forever family with adopters who can continue his training. He is a very high driven dog who needs a family who can keep his mind engaged. Red can be vocal on approach of other dogs so would be best suited to living with a well-mannered dog who can teach him polite behaviours. Red can find being left worrying to begin with so would be best suited to low leaving hours to begin with whilst he settles in the home. He can live with older primary school aged children. Red would like a garden to enjoy- this could be private or communal. Red does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Red's perfect match?

Red is a friendly boy who loves being social! He loves toy play; his favourite are tennis balls that he can destroy! He is very good at getting his nose to the found, following it for the best smells and some tasty treats. Red loves to engage in training, learning new tricks and showing them off to his carers. He is a great boy with a clever mind and a cracking personality!

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
